Loliondo FM Community Radio was born on april 2011 headquartered in Waso/Loiondo Township council, Ngorongoro DC, Arusha region, Tanzania United Republic. The organization partnered with different development partners in implementing projects to achieve its objectives. Loliondo FM gets more support from UNESCO, Airtel Tanzania, Insight share and previously Oxfam Tanzania. Other partners include Ngorongoro DC, Radio Tadio, local and international NGOs, Investors, individuals and more importantly the community in general

Lolindo FM Radio strives to raise voice of the pastoral communities, farmers and traders in Ngorongoro district and other coverage geographical areas including Longido District, Serengeti, Tarime in Tanzania and Narok and Kajiado County in Kenya. Loliondo FM target the following groups in its areas of focus; pastoralist communities, farmers, trader’, youth, women, and older children and people with disabilities

Loliondo FM Radio mission is to Building inclusive knowledge Community through information and communication. Loliondo FM works to create the conditions for discourse among policymakers, community, investors, conservators and peoples, based upon respect for commonly shared values. It is through this dialogue, information sharing that the community can achieve global visions of sustainable development surrounding observance of human rights, mutual respect and the alleviation of poverty. The organization focuses on areas such as climate change, education, health care, gender and cultural survival, sustainable livelihood, and human rights

Loliondo FM radio focuses on a set of objectives in the National priority areas

1. Loliondo FM radio becomes reliable media community Centre  
2. To encourage individuals and groups in target communities to participate in production of community media ie publications, video, radio, online and web broadcasting
3. To work with community members to ensure appropriate and accessible platforms exist to express and promote the community voice
4. To tackle negative stereotyping by mainstreaming media through production and distribution of locally created and produced community media that positively influence policymakers
