Vwawa Fm Radio

 “VWAWA FM” is a commercial, variety hits radio station transmitting from VWAWA MBOZI, SONGWE. The radio is programmed with music, well researched information, ethical advertisement and promotions. The station employs competent individuals who are creative and professionally dedicated to satisfying our listeners, sub scribers, and advertisers, needs.

The radio is owned by SONGWE MEDIA COMPANY LIMITED, a company registered under Tanzania Act of Companies  in 6^th September  2017 with certificate of incorporation No. 137624 of  6^th September, 2017.

The main purpose for the establishment of VWAWA FM was to air to the public the important event, occurring in the country and outside of it, as well as, education, customs, tradition, science, health, agriculture, road traffic, household knowledge, and entertainment through to traditional and modern songs, opera, drama, music among others. This satisfies the needs of information sharing and talent development.

VWAWA FM is located in SONGWE region, Mbozi District at Hasanga Ward though its broadcasting covers areas of neighboring regions, like Mbeya, and some areas of Rukwa, katavi, Njombe and some parts of Northern regions of Zambia and Malawi.

1. Mission:

To be the best radio on the southern highland regions, whose content is to be closer to the listeners by telling them their annoyances, informing, educating, criticizing and entertaining.

Help provide employment to young people journalist and non journalist.

2. Vision:
   • To be a great media outlet heard in a vast area by improving sensitivity to the ten (10) regions of Mainland of Tanzania.
   • To integrate the Tanzanian community living in those regions based on their traditions and customs.
   • Also set up a Channels of TV that will air its broadcast national wide
   • Our organization will build a strong financial base with a fully supported staff.
   • We will be recognized as creators and distributors of high-quality radio programming.
